Product description

The Aberlour Forest Reserve is matured for at least 10 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks before it receives its finish in French oak casks. This gives it a soft and spicy character as well as a long, warming finish.

In 1879 the distillery was built near the Lour stream by James Fleming. During his time the Aberlour distillery was the most modern distillery at the time. read more

Kommentar: Für den günstigen Preis ein erstklassiger Whisky. Nicht wahnsinnig komplex, aber rund und ausgewogen, klassisch malzig, ein wenig Sherry Einfluss würde ich sagen und eine angenehme Holznote. Gefährlich süffig, ohne dabei langweilig zu sein.
