Arran 'Barrel Reserve' has been part of the island distillery's core range since autumn 2019. Only bourbon casks were chosen for the Single Malt, which made it fresh and light. The sweet and fruity Arran is a dram for all occasions.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

    „Hier zeigt Arran, wie viel Charakter auch eine reine Bourbonfass-Reifung ohne Rauch entwickeln kann. In der Nase helle Früchte, Vanille, Zitronenzeste. Am Gaumen cremig, mit Toffee, Honig und einem Hauch Mandelschale. Der Abgang ist mittellang, trocken und angenehm würzig. Für alle, die Sherryfass-Pausen brauchen oder den natürlichen Arran-Stil pur erleben wollen – klare Empfehlung.“
