Aroma: Full and intensely sherried with oak tannins and fruity notes.
Taste: Smooth, creamy and sweet, followed by a slight spiciness.
Finish: Nutty with sherry and oak notes as well as honey.
Cask type (maturation): Sherry
Nc'nean Organic, 46% vol.
Aroma: Creamy notes and fruity accents.
Cask type (maturation): STR wine casks (55%), Bourbon casks (43%), Oloroso sherry casks (2%).
Talisker Port Ruighe, 45.8%
Flavour: Balanced and sweet with notes of bonfire and plums. Also sweet malt and toffee.
Taste: Smoky, savoury and spicy with dark fruits and pepper.
Finish: Full and lingering with smoke and dry cocoa.
Cask type (maturation): Finish in port casks
Glenallachie Cask Strength, 10 years, 58.6 % vol.
Aroma: Waves of honeycomb, orange peel and treacle, with fig syrup, mocha and poached fruit, followed by cinnamon and caramel.
Taste: Lots of cocoa, heather honey and baking spices, followed by dried red berries and Black Forest gateau.
Finish: Maraschino cherries and aniseed.
Cask type (maturation): Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Sherry Casks, Red Wine Barriques, Virgin Oak Barrels

Which whiskies are suitable for beginners? In our beginner's live tasting, we present four Single Malts that are particularly suitable for getting started in the world of whisky. They include the intense Edradour 10 with a clear sherry cask influence, the Nc'nean Organic, which uses a combination of STR wine casks (55%), bourbon casks (43%) and Oloroso sherry casks (2%), the Talisker Port Ruighe matured in port wine casks and the 10-year-old, cask-strength, current Batch 10 from Glenallachie.
Our Whisky.de crystal glass is particularly suitable for tasting.
The live tasting will take place on Tuesday, 26.12.2023. At 7 pm you will taste the four entry-level Single Malts together with Ben and Horst Lüning. The tasting will then take place in English at 8 pm.
