Product description

Big Peat 15th Anniversary Bottling was released (as the name suggests) to mark the 15th anniversary of Douglas Laing's popular Islay blended malt whisky. The blended malt, made from ingredients from renowned Islay distilleries, matured mainly in hand-picked red wine casks, which lend the smoky whisky fruity notes. This year's bottling also replaces the Big Peat Christmas Edition. Single malts included in the blended malt: Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen.

Aroma: Warme, erdige Rauchnoten gefolgt von fruchtigen Waldbeeren und Vanille.

Geschmack: Überwiegend fruchtige Aromen mit Toffee, dunkler Schokolade und etwas Nuss.

Abgang: Langanhaltend mit viel trockenem Torfrauch.
