Aroma Notes of toasted oak, warm vanilla and ripe fruit with a gentle spiciness.
Taste Balanced hints of caramelised apples and peaches, with facets of milk chocolate and coconut, rounded off by a sweet cinnamon note.
Finish Delicate, dry and long-lasting with fruity accents, with rich, nutty flavours of praline and roasted cocoa.
Maturation Oloroso sherry and bourbon barrels, finish in new, handmade American oak barrels

Product description
The Bushmills New American Oak is the fourth edition of the Causeway Collection and was created by master blender Alex Thomas. The non-chill-filtered bottling is inspired by the natural wonder of the Giant's Causeway, which consists of around 40,000 basalt columns that form a causeway. The Irish Single Malt Whiskey matured for 11 years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before being finished in new, handmade American oak casks from the Kelvin cooperage in Kentucky, USA. The strictly limited 2023 edition was bottled exclusively for the German market.
