Product description
The Cihuatán Indigo Rum matures for at least 8 years in old American bourbon barrels and in the hot climate of El Salvador. The bottling is dedicated to the rain god Tlaloc, who is one of the most important weather gods in the Mayan culture. The "Licorera Cihuatán" distillery was opened in 2004 and is so far the only rum distillery in El Salvador. The brand identity is intended to reflect the Mayan tradition of the country.
