The 16-year-old Dailuaine was bottled by Diageo. Under the Flora & Fauna Series, the owner bottles selected casks from several distilleries, each individually as a Single Malt. The Flora & Fauna series is a true enrichment of the whisky scene and is considered by collectors as an original bottling, if there are no other original bottlings.

Abgang: Oak Cherry Pepper Herb Dark Chocolate

Kommentar: Ein reifer, dunkler Whisky mit dezenter, also keineswegs überfrachteter, Süße. Im Abgang sehr eichenbetont, die herben Noten kommen hervorragend zur Geltung. Insgesamt trocken und schwer mit schönem Alter. Ein wenig Erfahrung mit Scotch schadet bei diesem Malt nicht. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
