Product description

This 30-year-old edition of The Dalmore consists of a special blend of whiskies. First, the whisky was matured in American white oak casks. Part of it was then transferred to port pipes, which were previously filled with rare Grahams Single Harvest Port from 1982.

The Distillery: Dalmore

Dalmore is a high-quality Highland distillery with a good Whisky and an elegant bottle design. The distillery was long run by the noble Scottish Mackenzie clan. A member of the clan once saved King Alexander III's life while stag hunting by stabbing a deer attacking him at the last second. The king was so grateful that he allowed the Mackenzie clan to bear the royal twelve-tailed stag on their coat of arms. This symbol is still displayed on Dalmore bottles today. Geschmack: Noten von Christollenkuchen, Maraschino Kirschen und Schwarzwald Früchten treffen auf Akzente von Ogen Melone und einen Hauch Portwein.

Abgang: Kolumbianischer Kaffee und Facetten von Lakritze, Ingwergewürz und Balsamico mit subtilen Noten von Sanguinello Blutorangen und dunkler Schokolade.
