    Aroma: Eine cremige Vanille (mit ganz zartem Rauch maximal 4 bis 6 PPM), hellen Früchten, Honig und Heidekraut.

    Geschmack: Würzig, cremig und honigweich: Liebliche Vanille mit (wieder) Honig und Creme Brülee.

    Abgang: Maximal mittel: Würziges Heidekraut mit Vanille und feinem Rauch.

    Kommentar: Ein großer Klassiker! Wollte ihn unbedingt mal probieren. Das habe ich folglich auch geschaft. Es ist wie bei einem der großen Filmklassikern, von denen man soviel gehört und gelesen hat, aber noch nie bis dahin selbst angeschaut hat. Jetzt habe ich ihn angesehen bzw. probiert. Und das Ergebnis: An manchen Stellen gefällt er mir schon, doch die negativen Stellen überwiegen deutlich! Die Whiskies von anderen Brennereien mit selben Alter sind meist komplexer und würziger (dafür auch meist doppelt oder dreifach so teuer). Ich finde dieser Whisky ist für Anfänger und Neulinge gut gemacht. Fortgeschrittene und Profis langweilen sich schon. Ist leider so!

    Kommentar: Ein toller Whisky mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr Honig süß, fruchtig. Langer Abgang. Das war einer meiner ersten Whiskys überhaupt und ich trinke ihn immer noch sehr gerne.
