The Edradour Cabernet Sauvignon Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. The 11-year-old single malt matured in a single Cabernet Sauvignon cask, which further enhances the whisky with subtle notes from the wine cask. Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine variety with worldwide distribution. The grape variety is one of the 20 most frequently cultivated grape varieties. Maturing the whisky in this white wine cask gives it fruity accents of blackcurrants.

Near the Edradour distillery lie the ruins of the Lindores Ruins. This is the birthplace of Aquavite (water of life) that later became the Whisky we know. Edradour is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland.
