Product description
The Finglassie bottle is launched by Rest & Be Thankful. Made from smoky malt at the InchDairnie Distillery, which opened in 2015. The 6-year-old Lowlander was matured in whisky casks from Islay and received its finish in rum casks from Jamaica.
The smoky Single Malt is neither coloured nor chill-filtered and is bottled at 46% vol.

Abgang: Peat Smoke Alcohol Pepper Oak

Kommentar: deutliches Rum-Fass im Aroma, tropisch-frische Ananas, Süße, Rauch eher im Hintergrund. Geschmack wieder mit viel Süße, Malz und einem ganz weichen, fruchtigen Rauch. Mittellanger Abgang mit Würzigkeit und Rauch sowie einer leicht alkoholisch-pfeffrigen Schärfe, hier merkt man die Jugend schon noch. Insgesamt eine spannende Islay-/Rumfass Kombo, paar Jahre mehr hätten den Einfluss sicher noch verstärkt. Einen halben Stern Plus gibts für das Weglassen einer möglichen Färbung sowie fürs hochwertige Etikettdesign von Rest & Be Thankful!
