Aroma: Dezente Nase, 48% nicht spürbar. Zitrusfrüchte (Orange kommt hin) und Heidekraut aus der Herstellerbeschreibung habe ich auch. Ziemlich süß.

Geschmack: Schöne Weinaromen, eher trocken, Orange. 48% hier deutlich spürbar.

Abgang: Lang und fruchtig.

Kommentar: Ich vergleiche mit dem nur etwas teuereren 16 Jahre alten Tomatin Moscatel. Kein Vergleich zu der überwältigenden Nase des Tomatin. In der Verkostung der enttäuschenste Part. Im Mund ein runder Gesamteindruck, jedoch etwas unterkomplex. Bedenkt man, dass Weinfass-Finishes heute eher nichts mehr Besonderes, sondern oft aus der Not heraus geboren sind, weil den Destillerien gute Sherryfässer fehlen, stimmt das PLV nicht ganz. Hierfür gibt es einen Abzug, obwohl gut gemacht und ohne große Fehler. Es gibt halt bessere...
