Kommentar: Mit dem Pot Still von Glendalough hat man einen klassischen Irish Whiskey, und zwar in jeder Form.
Dreifach destilliert schmeckt man seine Herkunft heraus. Die Pot Still Destilation tut ihr übriges hinzu. Ein trotz des wahrscheinlich jungen Alters intensiver Whiskey im Geschmack.

Kommentar: Ein nicht alltäglicher Whiskey, auf den man sich einlassen muss. Aber es lohnt sich. Zunächst erinnert alles an nasses Sägemehl; sowohl im Geruch als auch im Geschmack. Lässt man den Whiskey aber etwas und bewusst auf sich wirken, kommen zum Holzaroma fruchtige, süße und frische Einrücke von Birne, Honig, Nüssen und saftigem Gras in die Nase. Im Geschmack ist er sehr würzig mit Holz, Anklängen von Nuss, Zitrus und diversen Kräutern. Der Abgang weist herbe Noten auf, sicher vom Fass aus irischer Eiche. Dazu kommen noch Frucht-, Mandel- und Lederaromen.
