The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve was matured in a high proportion of American first-fill casks and is dedicated to the early days of the distillery. The Glenlivet was the first distillery in Speyside to be granted a licence to distil. The distillery has been producing since 1824 and is now one of the largest producers of malt whisky.

    Aroma: Fruit Pear Green Apple Sweet
    Sehr frisch und fruchtig, süß mit Äpfeln

    Geschmack: Fruit Malt Sweet Oak
    Leicht und fruchtig süß mit etwas malziger Würze

    Abgang: Auch der Abgang ist schön fruchtig und leicht und irgendwie doch recht lang anhaltend, ganz zum Schluss dann etwas trockener.

    Kommentar: Wie schon erwähnt, ein schönes Tröpfchen zum Feierabend, leicht und nicht zu anspruchsvoll.

    Abgang: Mittellang mit viel Vanilla , dazu Caramel Fruit und etwas Oak

    Kommentar: Nicht zu vergleichen mit den ersten Abfüllungen. Ich empfinde ihn als wirklich tollen NAS Whisky. Cremiges Mundgefühl mit leckerer Eiche. Ich mag ihn sehr.

    Kommentar: Der baut sich schnell imposant auf, füllt den Mundraum voll aus und geht rasch und mild ab. Der preisliche Einsteiger und als solcher nicht verkehrt.
