Hennessy Paradis Rare is an exclusive cognac from the Cognac region of the same name in France. Hennessy Paradis is made from a careful selection of eaux-de-vie that have been matured in barrels for up to 130 years. Aged in handmade French oak barrels, the premium Cognac matures slowly and evenly, creating an unmistakable flavour with floral notes, fine spices and a subtle sweetness, accompanied by some leather and wood. The cognac is a tribute to the tradition and craftsmanship of Hennessy, which is reflected in the exceptional smoothness and elegance of this bottling.

The Distillery:

The Maison Hennessy Cognac distillery was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy and is today one of the best-known houses for Cognac. In 1806, Jean Fillioux was appointed as the first Hennessy Master Blender, and since then the Fillioux family has overseen the ageing and blending process for the 8th generation. The iconic Hennessy logo, the “Bras Armé”, was introduced in 1856 and shows a fist holding an axe - a symbol that refers to the family coat of arms of Richard Hennessy.     Aroma: Süßlich und würzig mit zarten Noten von Honig, getrockneten Früchten und etwas Zimt, garniert mit floralen Elementen, Leder und etwas Holz.

    Geschmack: Seidige Textur mit Anklängen von Honig, getrockneten Blumen, Trüffel und sanften Gewürzen. Zarte Noten von Zimt, Kardamom und eingemachten Früchten kommen hinzu und gehen in getrocknete Rosenblätter mit Brombeermarmelade über.

    Abgang: Langanhaltend, komplex und würzig-fruchtig.
