The Jack Daniel's 10 Years-Old Tennessee Whiskey - Batch 04 is a strictly limited edition and a tribute to the distillery's founding period. The mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye is in keeping with the classic Jack Daniel's Old No 7 whiskey. Over a period of ten years, this whiskey matured in selected barrels, which were stored in different climate zones in the warehouses in Tennessee. The alternation between hot summers and cool winters allowed for intense barrel interaction and moulded the impressive depth and complexity of the character. At 97 proof, equivalent to 48.5% vol., Batch 04 reveals intense oak notes, seductive butterscotch, cocoa and a subtle hint of tobacco. The combination of age statement, high-quality gift packaging and the iconic Jack Daniel's brand makes this Tennessee whiskey a coveted highlight for Jack Daniel's fans and anyone who wants to become one.

Comment: Can definitely recognize Old Nr 7's nose and flavour like caramel and banana. Which makes sense because that's what it is, just older. It's a nice whisk(e)y for what it is, but it wouldn't be a rebuy for me at €120. -
