Product description

This rum is a Blend from different 6 to 25 year old rums, which were previously stored in American and French oak barrels. The heavy wooden boat Kirk & Sweeney became famous for smuggling rum during Prohibition. It was used to smuggle rum and spirits from the north-east of the Caribbean to the USA. In 1924, the boat was seized off the coast of New York with a huge quantity of rum on board. The boat was subsequently renamed "Chase" and served in Coast Guard training until the late 1940s.

Aroma: Leichte Noten von getrockneten Früchten und getoastetem Brot in Verbindung mit Karamell und Honig.

Geschmack: Zunächst Frische, die in den Geschmack von getrockneten Früchten übergeht.

Abgang: Karamell- und Sherrygeschmack gehen in Mandel und Vanille über.
