Product description
This Koval Single Barrel was bottled exclusively for the German importer. The rye consists exclusively of organically grown grain. After its classic maturation in white oak barrels, it received its finish in a barrel in which maple syrup was previously stored. The sweet syrup from Mackinac Bluffs Maple Farms in Michigan gives the fresh, light Koval Rye a lush, heavy sweetness. Koval is Yiddish and means 'black sheep'.

Abgang: mittellang süß etwas würzig Zimt
Kommentar: ein recht süßer, aber richtig runder Whisky, der bei mir aufgrund des Preisleistungsverhältnis volle 5 Sterne bekommt.

Kommentar: Den Tasticon "Möbelpolitur" vermisse ich hier sehr. Denn das war das erste was ich bei diesem Produkt in der Nase hatte. Zusammen mit ein wenig "Klebstoff", was mich persönlich nicht stört, war es ein schönes Aroma. Diese beiden verschwanden aber nach wenigen Minuten. Der Geschmack war süß mit Roggen und dezenter Eiche. Abgang etwa mittellang und schön im Mund. Mal etwas ganz anderes. Danke Koval. Glatte 3,5 Sternchen
