This bottling of Lagavulin belongs to the Distillers Edition of the Classic Malts of Scotland. The Single Malt was matured twice for at least three months in Pedro Ximenez Seasoned American Oak Casks. The powerful, dry and maritime character of the Lagavulin is complemented here by rich, sweet flavours.

Geschmack: Rauch und trockener Früchte. natürlich auch torfige Aromen

Abgang: kräftig, immer noch Rauch und Torf

Kommentar: Delikate Version der "Umarmung eines Bären" (Michael Jackson) Passt sehr gut zu vielen Zigarren. Nicht ganz preiswert. Für mich ist die Dest. ED aber auch den Mehrpreis im Vergleich zum 16 Jährigen wert.
