This Lindores Exclusive Cask bottling was selected by Elliot Wynn-Higgins, Export Manager at Lindores Abbey Distillery, and matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished for 14 months in a Palo Cortado cask. Palo Cortado is a rather rare, high-quality and generally dry sherry from the Jerez region. In terms of flavour, it combines the characteristics of an amontillado with nutty notes and an oloroso with more body and a stronger oxidative character, from which the Lowlands malt also benefited. This Single Malt rarity was bottled from a single cask at 51.6% vol. exclusively for the German market without chill-filtering and without the addition of artificial colourings. The Lindores Abbey distillery is based in the Scottish Lowlands and is located in a former abbey that has been producing high-quality premium spirits there since 2017.

Geschmack: Süße Noten von schottischen Haferkeksen, gefolgt von Rosinen und Pflaumen mit etwas Orangenschale, gerösteten, nussigen Mandeln und Backgewürzen. Eiche folgt mit dezenter Würze nach.
Abgang: Angenehm lang mit anhaltenden nussig-süßlichen Noten.
