Product description

This single grain from the Cooper's Collection is the second in a series of annual limited releases from Loch Lomond Master Blender Michael Henry. Distilled from 100% malted barley with subsequent maturation in American oak casks with a finish in the finest handmade Spanish oak casks, the natural flavours of the single grain whisky are enhanced. The continuous copper 'Coffey' still produces a whisky with elegant fruity and floral notes.

The Distillery: Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond is located in the Scottish town of Alexandria, directly on the lake of the same name. Hardly any other distillery in Scotland deserves the title 'unique' as much as Loch Lomond. Kommentar: unglaublich langer Abgang. Sehr würzig und holzig. Alkohol wunderbar eingebunden. Mal etwas komplett neues. Kaufempfehlung!

Kommentar: I could not really identify the mizunara cask, but this is good value for money.
P.S. mixing it 50/50 with Cutty Sark Prohibition gave a less aggressive, rather interesting taste. 4 stars
