	Type	Old Tom Gin
	Aroma	Sweet citrus fruits with ripe blood grapefruit and blood oranges. Floral notes of elderflower are added. Notes of juniper and mild coriander follow with time in the glass.
	Taste	Juniper, sweet clementines and mango. A gentle bitterness with hints of numerous citrus notes, whereby the blood and grapefruit accents are the most prominent.
	Finish	Long, pleasantly bitter with a refreshing acidity. Juniper, cranberries and renewed grapefruit notes come together and become somewhat sweeter after a longer time in the mouth.
	Cask type (maturation): 83% blood grapefruit-saturated 2nd fill bourbon casks and 17% blood grapefruit-saturated 1st fill American oak casks
	Limited to a total of 1,999 bottles, 600 of which are for Germany!

Mackmyra 1999-Bruket Gin is a tribute to the first distillery "Bruket", where today's Mackmyra distillery has its origins. The barrel-aged gin matured in barrels that were previously filled with blood grapefruit liqueur and is the first of four anniversary editions that will be released throughout 2024. The gin was created and bottled to celebrate Mackmyra's 25th anniversary.

The Distillery: Mackmyra

Mackmyra Distillery used to work in an old mill and stopped production in 2011. The new distillery called Mackmyra Gravity started without delay. Today there are Whiskies from both distilleries on the market. read more

Aroma: riecht nach Traube und Grapefruit

Geschmack: ein sehr intensiver, vielseitiger Geschmack, leicht bitter

Abgang: die sanfte Bitterkeit schwellt lange nach

Kommentar: einer meiner besten Gins die ich bis jetzt getrunken habe.

Aroma: Süße Zitrusfrüchte mit reifen Blutgrapefruits und Blutorangen. Florale Noten von Holunderblüten kommen hinzu. Mit der Zeit im Glas folgen Noten von Wacholder und mildem Koriander.

Geschmack: Wacholder, süßen Clementinen und Mango. Eine sanfte Bitterkeit mit Anklängen zahlreicher Zitrusnoten, wobei die Blut- und Grapefruitakzente am stärksten hervortreten.

Abgang: Lang, angenehm Bitte mit einer erfrischenden Säuerlichkeit. Wacholder, Preiselbeeren und erneute Grapefruitnoten kommen zusammen und werden nach längerer Zeit im Mund etwas süßer.
