Aroma Citrus fruits with oranges. Add summer fruits like peaches and apricots followed by sultanas, plums and herbs.
Taste Fruity and fresh. Notes of bitter oranges with dark chocolate, sultanas and a hint of pepper.
Finish Medium length.
Maturation American oak barrels and maturation in Pedro Ximènez and Oloroso sherry casks.

Product description
Millstone Oloroso Sherry was first matured in American oak casks. The finish was in Pedro Ximènez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The Zuidam distillery was founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam. As the malted barley for this whisky is ground with windmills, as was customary in the past, the Single Malt was christened Mühlstein. It is double distilled in copper Pot Stills and bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.

Durchaus lecker, fruchtig in der Nase mit einem Hauch Rosinen. Geschmacklich typisch für Sherryfinish, leichte Süße, Frucht, herbe Note, Alkohol nicht zu dominant, trotz der (in meinen Augen) nur 46% nicht zu dünn, Abgang kürzer, aber schön. Kein Fehlkauf, kann man mal probieren.
