Product description
The Aon PX Sherry Single Cask is a creation from the sustainable Nc'nean Distillery under the management of Annabell Thomas in the Scottish Highlands. Organic Scottish barley, excellent casks and Scottish whisky tradition come together in Nc'nean's bottlings to create distinctive bottlings that are presented in beautifully decorated recycled glass bottles. As for the Aon Pedro Ximénez Sherry Single Cask bottled exclusively for the German market, this was, as the name suggests, matured entirely in a former PX sherry cask. The 7-year-old bottling from the single cask comes at 59.1% vol. at natural cask strength in the decorated bottles and presents hints of forest fruits, sultana cake, liquorice and buttercream. Ideal for German whisky fans of sherry cask matured Single Malts.

The Nc'nean distillery on the Morvern Peninsula, which opened in March 2017, describes itself as Scotland's first organic Whisky distillery. The name is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, a ghost queen from Gaelic legends, and is pronounced 'Nook-knee-anne'. read more
