Kommentar: Kräftiger und anhaltender Geschmack von Holz. Wer das mag ist hier definitiv gut bedient - ich kenne keinen Whisky, der so intensive Holzaromen hat. Für meinen Geschmack leider zu penetrant. Ich trinke gerne kräftige Whiskys - oft auch in Fassstärke. Der Alkoholgehalt ist nicht dominant - trotz der 57,15% - was für eine gute und saubere Destillation spricht. Allerdings schmecke ich nur Holz und Leder und das auch Minuten nach dem Schluck. Ich habe leider direkt das Bild eines Fachwerkhauses vor den Augen - wenn man aus dem Gebälk ein Fass machen würde, würde der Whisky bestimmt so schmecken. Unter einem Bourbon stelle ich mir leider etwas anderes vor.
Ich glaube dieser Whisky ist wie Lakritze - man liebt es oder man hasst es ;)
