Für mich die "Benmark" für alle anderen Single Malts.

Kommentar: Perfekt ausbalancierte Komposition aus intensiver Fruchtigkeit, maritimen Anklängen und einer Ahnung von Rauch. In gewisser Weise sagt die geografische Lage der Brennerei auch etwas über den außergewöhnlichen Charakter des Oban aus: Längst ist er kein gefälliger Highlander mehr, aber auch noch weit entfernt von der Schroffheit mancher Insel-Whiskys. Mein absoluter Liebling, schon immer und immer wieder!
