Aroma Intense with a mixture of cherry jam, dripping caramel, dark chocolate, thickened maple syrup and spicy oak spice.
Taste Dark caramel coats layers of malt and nuts with sweet accents of graham cracker, all warmed by green peppercorns and coriander spice, brightened with a hint of cedar.
Finish Tart apples give way to a long, smoky finish full of toasted marshmallows, chocolate and the sweetness of graham crackers.

Product description
The Old Forester is the only Kentucky Straight Bourbon that was continuously distilled by the founding family before, during and after Prohibition. The 1920 Old Forester bottling is a tribute to the time during Prohibition. During this time, master distiller Owsley Brown was granted a limited licence to bottle the whiskey for medicinal purposes. At the time, 115 proof was the standard alcohol content at which this bourbon was also bottled.

Aroma: Intensiv mit einer Mischung aus Kirschkonfitüre, tropfendem Karamell, dunkler Schokolade, eingedicktem Ahornsirup und würziger Eichenholzwürze.

Geschmack: Dunkles Karamell umhüllt Schichten von Malz und Nüssen mit süßen Akzenten von Graham Crackern, alles erwärmt durch grüne Pfefferkörner und Koriandergewürz, aufgehellt mit einem Hauch von Zeder.

Abgang: Säuerliche Äpfel weichen einem langen, rauchigen Abgang voller gerösteter Marshmallows, Schokolade und der Süße von Graham-Crackern.
