Product description
The Pearse Distiller's Choice is a Blend of grain and malt whiskeys, which were matured to a large extent in former Bourbon casks and to a small extent in sherry casks. The Kentucky Bourbon casks come from the sister distillery in Lexington and for this Blend the in-house Single Malt was used in the production.
In 2012, Pearse Lyon began to realise his dream of a distillery in Ireland. St James' Church in the Liberties district of Dublin was an old, dilapidated church and, after four years of restoration, became the new home of Pearse Lyons Distillery.
Finally opening its doors in 2017, the distillery has since produced a range of award-winning Irish whiskeys and began producing single pot still whiskey in 2019.

Geschmack: Leichte Eichentöne, Trauben, karamelisierte Birne, Kakao und Trockenfrüchte.

Für mich ganz starke Assoziation zu Wacholder, vor allem im Aroma. Aber auch leicht auf der Zunge präsent.
