For the Saint James Rhum XO is made from sugar cane juice. The dark colour results from the 6 to 12 years of maturation in oak barrels. After ageing, the separately stored barrels are blended into a Blend. The end result is a chocolaty, nutty and soft taste experience. This rum is best enjoyed neat or on ice.

The Saint James Distillery, located in the middle of sugar cane plantations in the small town of Sainte-Marie on Martinique, has been producing Rum since 1765. This makes it one of the oldest, still active Rum distilleries on the island.
