After 2.5 years of ageing in new American white oak casks, this Slyrs Single Malt is matured for a further 4 years in original Amontillado casks. For the finish, casks up to 50 years old are sourced from the famous Bodegas Tradición in Jerez, Spain.

The Slyrs Whisky Distillery on Lake Schliersee, named after the historical name of the region, is located in the middle of the picturesque Alpine landscape. The finest Bavarian Single Malt Whisky has been produced here since 1999, initially in the traditional Lantenhammer distillery and since 2007 in the modern Slyrs distillery in Neuhaus.
