The Smokehead brand belongs to the independent bottler Ian MacLeod. The Islay distillery behind the famous Smokehead whisky is a closely guarded secret. This bottling of Single Malt Islay has been matured for 15 years in oak casks and the age statement makes it a real rarity for Smokeheads, which are otherwise released without an age statement.

Aroma: Angenehmer Rauch der aber keine anderen Aromen mehr zulässt. Bonfire Smoke

Geschmack: leichte Süsse von Citrus Früchten gespart mit leichten Kräuter Noten. Hier schmeckt man die Tiefe der 15 Jahre

Abgang: Auch hier hat man den Rauch lange im Mund, gespart mit etwas Salz aber auch wieder den fruchtigen Noten

Alles in allen ein sehr guter Shokhead der durch seine 15 Jahre klar mehr Charakter gegenüber den andern Smikheads hat.
