One of the Best Drams is this Teerenpeli, which represents Finland's largest whisky distillery and is matured in a first fill PX sherry hogshead. Teerenpeli is based in the Finnish town of Lahti and was originally founded as a brewery and press house. Whisky has also been distilled there since 2002. The distillery uses Finnish barley for production, which is distilled twice in Forsyth's Pot Still in the Scottish style. This drop demonstrates the craftsmanship of the comparatively young distillery and its special character within the Best Drams range.
