Tomintoul Seiridh was first matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso Sherry Butts from Jerez in Andalusia, Spain. Seiridh' (pronounced sheh-ree) is Gaelic and means sherry.

Geschmack: Leicht (man spürt die 40%) aber auch hier weinbetont und eher auf der süßen Seite. Eher dunkle Früchte und recht gewürzbetont. Holz ist kaum spürbar, bzw. gut eingebunden.
Abgang: Mittelang und weich.
Kommentar: Sherry hätte ich hier weniger vermutet, eher würde ich auf eine Weinfassreifung tippen. Recht eindimensional, aber gefällig. Ein Sherrybombe, sondern eher ein gewürzbetonter leichter Dram. Für einen NAS in der mittleren Preisklasse.
