The Japanese Ukiyo Blossom Gin comes from the southern Japanese region of Kagoshima, which is known for its long tradition in the art of distillation. The distillery can look back on over 130 years of experience and combines classic craftsmanship with Japanese precision. A high-quality rice distillate serves as the basis, with the rice used coming directly from the region and giving the gin a particularly soft, clear structure. The Japanese Gin is refined with carefully selected botanicals that give it its elegant flavour. The delicate note of Japanese cherry blossom (sakura) takes centre stage, giving Ukiyo Blossom Gin its characteristic floral expression. Subtle hints of fruit and a fine spiciness complement the harmonious flavour profile without being overpowering. On the palate, the Gin is balanced, mild and pleasantly round, with a gentle, slightly sweet finish. Ukiyo Blossom Gin is ideal for pure enjoyment, classic gin & tonic variations or as a high-quality base for elegant cocktails.     Abgang: eher mittellang, aber bleibt in Erinnerung

    Kommentar: Wie er verspricht; es ist ein sehr blumiger und fast schon harmonischer Gin.
    Allerdings wirkt er durch die sehr starke Aroma-Aufladung fast schon 'parfürmiert' bzw. etwas überwältigend.

    Geschmack: blumig im warsten Sinn des Wortes, etwas Zitrone

    Abgang: bleibt der Hautnote treu, ist dezent, hält aber dafür
