Description du produit
The Tamnavulin distillery was built in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin, Scotland. Almost three decades later, it was closed again. After extensive renovation, the reopening was celebrated in 2007. This Single Malt was first matured in American white oak casks before it received its post-maturation in former Tempranillo red wine casks, which underline the sweet and mild character of Tamnavulin.

Tamnavulin is one of the younger Scottish distilleries and only built in 1966. It was founded to produce a great quantity of Whisky for Blends and this is still its main job. There are only a few Single Malts released as official bottlings from Tamnavulin, the “mill on the hill”, but the Speyside distillery on the banks of the river Livet is worth to have a closer look on it. en savoir plus

    Kommentar: Was für ein toller Whisky für wenig Geld. Ich mag Tamnavulin und dieser ist für mich der Beste. Die 40 % stören mich bei diesem Tempranillo Cask nicht so sehr (Im Gegensatz zum Oloroso Cask). Tolle Fässer.
