This Craigellachie belongs to the cask strength series of Signatory Vintage and was bottled without chill filtering and without the addition of colouring. The Speyside whisky matured for 10 years in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt and forms a particularly full-bodied Taste thanks to Wormtubs.

The Distillery: Craigellachie

In the heart of the Speyside near the little town of Craigellachie/Banffshire lies a distillery that was founded in 1891 at the peak of the Whisky boom and survived until today. Craigellachie Distillery is situated on a hill and overlooks the town.The difficult Gaelic name means “Rocky Hill” and is pronounced Krai-GELLacky. read more

Klassische "sherry Bombe", absolut angenehem und gut zu trinken. Passt hervorragend zu einer Zigarre.
