Geschmack: Delikat, voll und süßlich: Sirupartig, mit Vanille, Kokosraspeln, Karamell und Pfeffer/Lebkuchen.
Abgang: Mittel. Pfeffer, Malz und Vanille kämpfen miteinander; am Ende gewinnt die zarte leichte Eichenfracht.
Kommentar: Eigentlich ist dieser Single Malt nur die Neuauflage des "Glen Moray Fired Oak" von vor ein paar Jahren! Geschmack und Geruch nahezu identisch! Und dan auch noch rund 10 Euro teurer! Dennoch für Anfänger wie Fortgeschrittene geeignet. Umverpackung und neuer Name etwas zu kitschig, geht aber noch. Für einen Glen Moray ganz akzeptabel.
