Product description

For Glenfiddich German Cask 1990 from a single refill barrel, a 33-year-old matured single malt whisky was bottled exclusively for the German market in the Glenfiddich Archive Collection and is a tribute to the 1990s. The rare refill barrel was personally hand-selected by Malt Master and Master Blender Brian Kinsman. The cask strength bottling was neither chill-filtered nor coloured and was bottled at cask strength in a limited edition of 146 bottles. Two bottles remain in the family-owned archives of the distillery.

The Distillery: Glenfiddich

Glenfiddich is Scotland's best-known and most successful distillery. It is located in the heart of Speyside, in Dufftown to be precise. Also known as "The Giant", it has an impressive annual production capacity of 21 million litres. No other Single Malt is as popular worldwide. Glenfiddich Whiskies are usually matured in small Ex-Bourbon casks made from mild American white oak. Geschmack: Seidig mit grünen Aromen und Eiche, dazu Tannine und eine buttrige Süße.
