Glenfiddich has ventured out of its comfort zone with the Orchard Experiment and presents with this bottling a Single Malt that has been refined for four months in Somerset Pomona casks. Somerset Pomona is a liqueur based on a secret blend of the juice of fine apples and Somerset Cider Brandy. The result is a summery, fruity whisky.

Glenfiddich is Scotland's best-known and most successful distillery. It is located in the heart of Speyside, in Dufftown to be precise. Also known as "The Giant", it has an impressive annual production capacity of 21 million litres. No other Single Malt is as popular worldwide. Glenfiddich Whiskies are usually matured in small Ex-Bourbon casks made from mild American white oak. Kommentar: Ein Besserer unter den Glenfiddichs. Die Fruchtigkeit überdeckt den Destilleriecharakter glücklicherweise sehr gut. Nur zum Ende des Abgangs ist da wieder diese leichte Muffigkeit... Ob 46% nicht doch besser gewesen wären?
