Aroma Soft and fresh with milk chocolate and citrus. In the background maritime and slightly smoky with cereals.
Taste Warming, sweet and smoky with spicy notes. Dry towards the end with more smoke.

For the 200th anniversary of the distillery, the 8-year-old Lagavulin was bottled for the first time. After the great response, Diageo decided to bottle the whisky regularly at the end of 2017.

Kommentar: Anfänglich habe ich diesen Whisky gemocht. Dann hat sich der Geruch und Geschmack von gegrilltem oder geräuchertem Schweinefleisch / Speck immer mehr in den Vordergrund gedrängt, so dass ich gar nicht mehr daran riechen, geschweige denn davon trinken mag.
