	Aroma	Fruity-sweet notes of honey and apple with a slight smokiness. Medicinal notes of rosemary and vanilla follow. Almond milk with a hint of lemon zest round off the flavour.
	Taste	The peat smoke mixes with peppery notes and herbs. There is a hint of vanilla pod in the background.
	Finish	Long lasting and slightly dry with the typical saltiness of Laphroaig.

The Laphroaig Hunter series has produced outstanding bottlings over the years. All bottlings include a handmade book that tells stories from the distillery manager's life. Each bottling in the coming years tells another chapter of Ian Hunter's rich legacy. Ian Hunter was the last descendant of the Johnston family and managed the distillery from 1908 - 1944.

The Distillery: Laphroaig

Laphroaig (pronounced 'La-froig') means 'the beautiful hollow by a broad bay' in Gaelic. The area around the distillery, which is located on the remote island of Islay (pronounced 'Ei-la') off the west coast of Scotland, is just as beautiful. Aroma: Fruchtig-süße Anklänge von Honig und Apfel mit einer leichten Rauchigkeit. Medizinische Noten von Rosmarin und Vanille folgen. Mandelmilch mit einem Hauch von Zitronenschale runden das Aroma ab.
Geschmack: Der Torfrauch vermischt sich mit pfeffrigen Noten und Kräutern. Im Hintergrund hält sich ein Hauch von Vanilleschote.
Abgang: Langanhaltend und etwas trocken mit der typischen Salzigkeit von Laphroaig.
