Variety Single malt whisky
Aroma Rich and intense with caramelised notes of apples and pears, plus a mixture of sultanas, orange peel, apricots and a hint of aged leather.
Taste Deep and complex with hints of chocolate fudge and Manuka honey. Distinct facets of dried fruit and nuts towards the end.
Finish Warm and round with a sweetish cinnamon flavour.

This 12-year-old Tomatin single malt matured for a full 12 years in first-fill sherry casks and is now part of the Tomatin range. This has made the balanced and fruity whisky a special release from the Highland distillery, which is otherwise better known for its different and excellent cask finishes.

Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Kommentar: Ein ausgewogener Whisky, vielschichtig mit jedem weiteren Sip. Kann jeden für sich gewinnen, aber nicht nur ein "Frauenwhiskey" (süß und fruchtig, cremig).
