Taste Layers of apricot cake, cooked pears and apple pie combined with black coffee, buttery malt and baking spices.
Finish Sweet and warming with notes of sponge cake roll and strawberry tart, merging into mocha and roasted nuts.

Product description
For the Tomintoul Small Batch White Port Cask Finish, selected Tomintoul whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks were blended together and then given a finish in hand-selected casks that previously contained white port from Portugal.
The Tomintoul distillery is located in the famous Livet River valley. Tomintoul has special energy-saving heat exchangers. After the alcohol vapours have cooled down, the collected heat is returned to the mash.

Aroma: Vanille- und Zitronenkuchen mit einer Portion Ingwerpulver und süßem Konfekt.

Geschmack: Leicht bitter, malzig und fruchtig: Verschiedene helle Früchte (z. B. Ananas) und Kuchengepäck.

Abgang: Kurz bis mittel. Ein Bisschen Schokolade (Zartbitter), mit grünem Tee, Vanille und Früchtekuchen.

Kommentar: Der Tomintoul mit Tawny Port Finish war deutlich besser! Viel zarter, komplexer und dunkler im Geschmack! Der hier ist unteres Mittelfeld! Trotzdem gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis.
