The Ardnamurchan Peated Cask Strength Release comes from the Highlands and is made from 87% malt kilned over peat and 13% unpeated malt. The creation is matured 90% in ex-bourbon casks and 10% in ex-sherry casks. The result is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and bottled at cask strength. A must-have for lovers of smoky Single Malt whiskies.

Aroma: sehr vielversprechend, Rauch, Vanille, Süsse, ein bisschen Maritimes, je länger er atmet um so süsser wird die Nase!
Erinnert an Talisker Peat Smoke Sweet Vanilla

Geschmack: Fruchtig (Orangeat, Zitronat), Rauch, ein wenig Eichenwürze, nicht sprittig, beisst nicht! Fruit Peat Smoke Oak

Abgang: mittellang, zuerst fruchtig, dann kommt langsam die Eichenwürze, Rauch Fruit Oak Peat Smoke

Kommentar: sehr interessant, gute Fassstärke mit nicht zu heftig Sherry, gutes PLV. Glatte 4,5 Sterne!
