This is the strong Three Wood Whisky from Auchentoshan. After about 10 years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is matured for 2 years in an oloroso sherry cask before being matured for a further 6 months in a sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Geschmack: Frucht und Süße fehlen

Kommentar: Als alter Fan des Three Wood kam am 10.04. eine maßlose Enttäuschung zu mir. Es fehlte der absolut spezielle
Geschmack und Geruch. Ganz wenig Frucht und Süße. Keine Ahnung, was da passiert ist. Schmeckte eher wie der 12 Jährige
mit etwas mehr Frucht.
