This Aultmore was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Andrew Symington founded his company at the end of the 1980s and has always maintained a good relationship with the distilleries. This bottling is part of the Signatory 100 Proof Edition, which no longer only produces high-proof, uncoloured whiskies, but also inexpensive bottlings that have been matured for a long time. This bottling has been matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt. For a long time, Aultmore was used for blending, making this single malt an outsider. After 17 years in the cask, it skilfully combines spicy and herbal notes with the nutty sweetness of the sherry casks.

Kommentar: sehr würziges, intensives Aroma, im Abgang trockener werdend eine leichte Süße ist zu verspüren. Sehr guter Tropfen mit einem guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.
