This Braeval Single Malt is part of Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, in which the whiskies are bottled directly at cask strength. They are particularly recommended for advanced connoisseurs. The Speyside malt matured for 21 long years in a single refill butt before being bottled at an intense 60.3 vol. without chill-filtering and without adding colour.

    Kommentar: In der Nase zunächst Gewürze und Ledernoten, gefolgt von Trockenfrüchten und einer Karamellnote, dann Eiche, Mandeln und nach Zugabe von etwas Wasser auch Kräuternoten

    Auf der Zunge macht sich zunächste eine Honigsüße und Cremigkeit bemerkbar, dann Mandeln, zunehmend malziger und trockener werdend, gefolgt von Kaffee-, Schokoladen- und Eichennoten, zum Ende hin eine leichte Schärfe

    Im mittellangen Abgang zuerst herbe Noten, dann zunehmend würziger, später malzig-süß und trockener werdend.
