The Buckingham Palace Coronation Rum was created to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, who himself served in the Royal Navy from 1971 to 1976. To celebrate the upcoming coronation on 06 May 2023, Buckingham Palace commissioned this specially blended Navy-style rum. The rum itself consists of traditional and specially selected rums from the Caribbean.
