Bushmills Causeway Collection Pomerol Cask is another edition in the Causeway Collection created by Master Blender Alex Thomas. The non-chill-filtered bottling is inspired by the natural spectacle of the Giant's Causeway, which consists of around 40,000 basalt columns that form a causeway. The limited edition Single Malt Whiskey was first matured in Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks before being refined in Pomerol casks. It was bottled at cask strength in 2022.

Aroma: Zuerst kommen ganz dunkle, aber süße Früchte in die Nase, also Waldbeeren; auch Rotwein-Noten und süßer Waldhonig sind im Spiel; wenn man ihn etwas länger atmen lässt, erkennt man durchaus auch noch eine Zitrusfrucht.
Geschmack: Der beginnt im Mund mit einer massiven, fruchtigen Süße, und mit einer herrlichen Cremigkeit; der Alkoholgehalt ist perfekt; schon rasch aber entwickelt sich nicht nur eine Zitronenschale, sondern auch eine nicht zu geringe Pfeffrigkeit.
Abgang: Durch die Pfeffernote entsteht ein ziemlich langer Abgang.
Kommentar: Komplexer, massiver, sehr verführerischer Whisky von absoluter Topqualität.
