For the 2023 Edition of the popular Deanston Virgin Oak, traditional bourbon casks were first used before the Single Malt Whisky was stored for 9 to 12 months in the finest American Virgin Oak casks. The final result is bottled at cask strength and without chill filtering or added colour. The Deanston distillery was built in the premises of an old cotton mill. Everywhere in the premises there is the flair of the 19th century. After closing in the mid-1980s, production resumed in 1991.

Aroma: Aromatisch mit Holz Noten, leichte Uhu Klebstoff Noten wie in American Bourbon, sahnig-cremig, Karamell, Vanille

Geschmack: Milchschokolade, süße Früchte, Äpfel, mit Wasser: florale Noten und Kinder Kaugummi

Abgang: Mittellang mit viel Holz und Bitterkeit

Kommentar: Interessante Abfüllung mit viel Substanz aber doch auch begrenzt durch das junge Alter
